Intercalating medical student interested in dermatology and research
During the 4 week of clinical elective placement, I gained more insight of public hospital and healthcare in Hong Kong. I further explored on internal medicine for example in gastroenterology, rheumatology and infectious disease. I joined tutorials related to dermatology and neurology with local medical students.
Volunteered and helped with the online chatroom as a peer listener, providing peer-to-peer support in non-judgemental way and allow users to share their thoughts and worries.
I help by providing feedbacks and thoughts from a student perspective. I also helped with suggesting methods for engaging more students and raising awareness about Schwartz Rounds. Me and the group reflect on previous Schwartz Rounds and think of how to make future events even better.
