Responsible for leading the development of the curriculum progression logic in a new English and maths digital learning tool. • Designing, implementing and optimising an adaptive logic engine for a curriculum tool used by a membership of over 20,000 members aged 4-14. • Use of machine learning and advanced modelling techniques to improve the user experience and optimise the learning path of students using the tool. • Creation and ownership of a vast number of reports (using Power BI) shared internally and externally to report on individual and cohort educational progress. • High levels of involvement in driving the development of a brand new tool, including content creation, structural data decisions, user acceptance testing, and regular measure-change-improve cycles. • Frequent communication with key internal and external stakeholders.
Design, delivery and interpretation of customer insight from customer behavioural & transactional data and other commercial information by using both simple and advanced analytical techniques. Tutoring Maths and English to children of a range of abilities from age 4 to 16, working to inspire and assist children with their learning. Helping to monitor their academic and social progress as well as providing feedback for their parents. Training including National Curriculum, Behaviour management and Teaching Methods. Given the opportunity to work as a compere, involving greeting children and parents, giving verbal feedback on a child's progress and ensuring the centre is running efficiently. Sales training to promote Explore Learning to the general public, aiming to book them in for a trial session. Awarded 'Tutor of the Year 2014' for hard-work and commitment to the team, as voted for by members, parents and management. I have been given the responsibility of leading additional content classes, such as Exam Preparation for the 11+ exams, and Creative Writing which I lead once a week.
