Hello! I am Emily, a Year 4 NTU undergraduate majoring in Biological Sciences and Psychology, with five years of tutoring experience in Primary English, Primary Mathematics,Secondary Elementary Mathematics and Lower Secondary Science. My academic background complements my teaching, allowing me to break down complex ideas and tailor lessons to each student’s learning style. As a driven, disciplined, and hardworking individual, I take a structured and thoughtful approach to teaching. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and develop confidence. Patience and empathy are at the core of how I connect with my students—helping them stay motivated and engaged. My goal is to pursue a long-term career in education, where I can continue to guide and inspire the next generation to reach their full potential.
