I’m a senior at Clarkstown South High School with a strong interest in criminal justice and a long-term goal of becoming a police officer or detective. I’ve always enjoyed helping others, staying observant, and solving problems. I currently babysit and volunteer in my community, which has helped me build responsibility, patience, and strong communication skills. Through these roles, I’ve learned the value of teamwork, good judgment, and awareness of my surroundings. I’m excited to continue developing skills related to public safety, leadership, and conflict resolution as I move toward future internships in criminal justice.
Helped organize case files, review police reports, examine evidence, and summarize important information for Assistant District Attorney’s Office staff. Also observed court proceedings, meetings, and hearings to gain a better understanding of how the criminal justice system works.
