About

After having a love for everything creative since day one I began studying makeup artistry at age 16. Undertaking a technical diploma in Media Makeup Artistry at Leicester College. Here I thrived finishing my 2 years of study with a distinction. Straight out of college I jumped into studying Specialist Hair and Media Makeup BA(Hons) at University College Birmingham. Working hard at achieving my degree for 3 years. In my second year of University I took on the extra responsibility of becoming A Beauty Specialist at Boots UK. This is a job which has allowed me to bring my skills into practice. Working with the public to help them with any skincare or makeup related needs they may have. Since recently graduating University, I have been thrown into the beautiful world of working in the makeup industry. Continuing to build my portfolio and make my way into the fashion industry. For me makeup is about creating something beautiful. Even if it may not seem ‘beautiful’ at first sight. Avant-garde styles play a huge influence on my work. The idea of creating something that confuses at first and then mesmerises after exploring the deeper meaning or influence is a concept that I adore. I have also had the pleasure of working backstage at London Fashion Week. A dream that I have had for as long as I can remember. I got to work alongside other makeup artists, incredible models, photographers, hairstylists etc. As well as gaining first hand experience working with brands and designers such as Pam Hogg, Burlagma and Shino just to name a few. I thrive in fast paced environments like this. I have worked on SS24, AW24, and SS25 shows. In September of 2024 I moved to Perth, Australia. Seeking more life experience and an insight into the global makeup industry vs just the UK. I now work at MAC cosmetics as a retail artist. This role allows me to experience the cosmetics industry in a way I never had before. I love to see how trends and makeup culture differ here compared to what I’m used to. I’m looking forward to seeing where this role takes me. I am so excited to delve deeper into the creative world. Continuing to make art with like minded individuals.
