I work as a KIS Academics Private Tutor and Student Mentor, meeting with clients across my state and delivering high quality, personalised academic tutoring. In this role I: - Meet with new and prospective tutoring students - Communicate progress and maintain relationships with parents - Conduct 1-on-1 study skills consultations to learn student's strengths and weaknesses, figure out their learning style, build a tutoring plan and truly individualise my lessons - Onboard students onto the KIS Academics online learning platform - Mentor students about study skills and personal development
The Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program is an academic enrichment program designed to support high achieving Victorian Year 11 and Year 12, and select secondary students living close to the New South Wales and South Australian borders. Students will be selected based on: - Their school endorsement - Academic performance: students should be in the top 5 per cent of students in their year level. - Leadership potential: students must demonstrate evidence of leadership, active citizenship and community and extracurricular involvement
