I am a recent graduate from Eastern Kentucky University, who received a Bachelors of Business Administration in General Business and Marketing, as well as, a Marketing Research and Analytics Certificate. I am a member of the International Business Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma. I was a member of the Honor Society Alpha Lambda Delta, and Future Business Leaders of America while in college. As a well-rounded individual who is meticulous and organized, I strive to learn and grow as much as I can while in my current position as the Administrative Assistant and Marketing Coordinator at Hyland Insurance. I enjoy learning new things and meeting both my personal and professional goals. I work well both individually and with others on projects. As a dedicated and responsible individual, I hope to continue to grow both as a collaborator and leader. I wish to grow within my communication and problem solving skills. I am thrilled to see what opportunities open up for me at Hyland over the span of my career.
Conducting administrative duties, such as going through e-mails and postal mail. Forwarding the correct materials to the right employees. Taking phone calls and redirecting the calls to the correct employees. Greeting office guests. Keeping track of office supplies, and placing orders when more inventory is needed. Running reports. Creating social media content for all platforms Hyland is active on. Keeping track of the social media content calendar. Assisting with both office and out of office events. Staying organized and thinking creatively.
After this summer internship, I returned to Hyland as an intern from December 2024 to January 2025, during my winter break. I also then returned again in August 2025 as a part-time Marketing Coordinator. This role lasted until September 2025, which was when I was then offered a full-time position with Hyland. During my time at Hyland, I have helped with content creation, office event planning, and I have attended office meetings. During the summer of 2024 specifically, I attended the 2024 Women Leaders in Insurance Conference. Aided in increasing numbers. Hyland’s Facebook follower count increased by 103.7%. Instagram followers increased by 17.5%. Organic Facebook reach showed a 50.1% increase, while Instagram showed a 202.8% increase in organic reach. Facebook follower count almost doubled from start to finish of this summer internship, from 1,275 to 2,549 followers. Analyzing Hyland’s social media analytics through Meta Business Suite allowed me to see true results in a real business setting.
I worked at Walgreens during my winter break. I worked as a cashier where I completed purchase transactions, returns, Western Union transactions, and I loaded universal cards. I often helped within the photo department where I learned how to assemble photo canvases, photo wood panels, calendars, and photo print books. I also learned how to print a variety of different sized photos and take passport photos. Within the photo department I learned how to handle drop off packages for FedEx as well. Aside from the photo department and the cash register, I helped stock the shelves with new product and rotate the store inventory as new holiday products came in. I answered the phone, helped customers with any questions or concerns, and I worked diligently with my team.
This was a summer job where I helped as a cashier. I tagged new inventory for the sales floor. I grew upon my customer service skills. I problem solved by responding to customers via e-mail in a professional manner. I also answered the phone and packed online orders for shipping. Often I assisted in creatively rearranging the store.
As a retail sales associate I was trained to work on the cash register, in the shoe department, in customer service, and in recovery. In recovery it was my duty to put store inventory back where it belonged in the store, whether it was items that had been left in the dressing rooms or items that had been returned. I worked with my fellow co-workers to provide a fun and welcoming environment for all customers.
