About

Driven by her values,intuition and ethics, Emily strives to show through her work the beauty of multiculturalism by highlighting the element of co-existence. Her studies in Anthropology and Social Development, provided her with the skills to acknowledge multiple cultural perspectives as well as designing the most appropriate tools and solutions for various affairs, always taking into consideration the cultural context. Additionally, her current MA in Visual Anthropology, Media and Documentary practices provide further knowledge in expressing societal affairs through the visual medium. Emily’s involvement in the Cyprus Refugee Council and the Cyprus Red Cross, provided her with a hands on experience in regarding the migration context in Cyprus. Additionally, her role as project manager enhanced her insights to the current affairs of the Cypriot and European context. Coming into further contact with multiple communities in Cyprus and their realities, she undertook multiple research and development of related tools for the humanitarian field, through multiple projects. Lastly, through her MyAnthrogram Instagram page and occasional contribution at the Fading Cultures Magazine, Emily aims to share stories of people, places and cultural meanings of the human realm to show the potential of co-existence and beauty of multiculturalism.
