Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark, Denmark
As a communications professional, who's particularly passionate about internal and cross-cultural communication, I'm currently leading the internal communications team at TDC Brands, Denmark's leading telecommunications company that employes more than 3000 people across Denmark.
I'm a member of the board of Lars Nørvigs Fond, a foundation that provides funds and supports three distinct causes: A. The department for children's cancer at Rigshospitalet B. The department for glaucoma at Rigshospitalet C. Any purpose that seeks to promote and advance industrial design and great construction architecture The board is responsible for deciding which initiatives and groups the foundation grants money to every year. My responsibilities include identifying projects to support, collaborating with grant recipients, and managing communications for the foundation.
Responsibilities: • Creating and executing Siteimprove’s internal communications strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders in order to reinforce Siteimprove’s culture, purpose, and strategy across the organization. • Supporting the executive leadership team in communicating strategy and vision • Responsible for administration of communication channels such as Siteimprove's intranet and Slack • Keeping internal content calendars up to date and coordinating content with the rest of internal content editors • Providing communications advisory on channel use, content types, etc. to Siteimprovers across the business • Ensuring that Siteimprove's intranet is populated with content that engages our workforce, increases trust in leadership, and builds cross-departmental connections
2022: At the start of 2022, I transitioned into the Marketing organization, first reporting to the Chief Storyteller and later the Chief Marketing Officer. Still responsible for sustainability, and partly employer branding, my key focus area in this "new" role is optimizing our internal communication channels and making sure that our executive leadership team are capable of communicating our strategy and direction clearly and driving the organization through change processes. As the only internal communications professional at Siteimprove, I often work independently but with stakeholders all across the global organization and enjoy connecting with my international Siteimprove colleagues. I also believe I have a big role to play in helping my colleagues understand what's expected of them, realize how their meaningful work makes a difference around the world, and navigate all the changes that come with being a fast-growing IT company. 2017-2021: I was part of the Siteimprove International HR team, reporting directly to the VP of Global HR. In the one-of-a-kind role at Siteimprove, I often worked independently and enjoyed great freedom and lots of exciting opportunities to put my communications skills to the test. My responsibilities included internal communication, CSR, and employer branding, all on a global scale. I produced internal newsletters, administered communication tools such as Slack and an employee communication app, offered communications advisory to leadership, assisted the HR team with all their documentation and communication, and supported the TA teams through employer branding initiatives such as a career website, social media content, events, etc. On the side, I coordinated Siteimprove's CSR activities across all global offices and wrote the annual Sustainability Report as part of Siteimprove's commitment to the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals.
As Communications and Research Assistant I was part of the Nordic Sales team, reporting directly to the Director of Sales. In this role, my primary task was to assist the Director of Sales communicate strategy, goals, results, and more, to the Danish, Icelandic, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish sales staff. I was working closely with the Danish team, helping them with customer communication and events, and I enjoyed passing on the occasional sales lead to the team. Among my main responsibilities were: - Launching and running an internal newsletter - Producing documents and email templates for the Sales staff - Proofreading of emails, tenders, presentations - Translating the Siteimprove tool and Help Center from English to Danish - Organizing external networking events for customers and internal team events - Ad hoc tasks assisting the European sales management
