Committed and result-oriented, I am an energy and sustainability professional with a sound knowledge of energy transition and decarbonization. Passionate about delving into the technical and business aspects of projects, throughout my experience, I have developed a strong business acumen that combines technical and commercial aspects underpinning energy infrastructure project development. During my career, I have led and performed technical-economic feasibility analysis, electricity and gas market analysis, and risk and opportunities analysis for renewable energy infrastructures, CCGT, gas storage infrastructures, and e-fuels. My experience in the energy industry, complemented by my knowledge of sustainability strategy, creates an edge in delivering value towards a more tangible sustainable energy transition. Having been trained by the ´B-leaders' training program in the Nordics, I act as a B-Leader who is engaged in helping corporates implement corporate sustainability strategies by measuring, managing, and benchmarking firms’ social and environmental impacts. (Seconded to SWECO as part of the team of energy infrastructure and sustainability specialists) - Defined and established the requirements for the North Sea Energy Island project tender material and documentation and reporting encompassing Sustainability management (e.g. EU Taxonomy, ESG investing, ESRS reporting), environmental management(based on ISO15001), waste management and EHS (based upon ISO 45001 during the operational phase. Collaboration with law firms for the layout of the energy island's O&M contract between stakeholders (e.g. TSOs, wind energy producers, lessors and lessees) responsible for the efficient operation of the energy asset. Contributed to the OPEX estimation of the energy island infrastructure and cost risk evaluation scenarios. Management of stakeholders and collaborations with the Danish Energy Agency, the Danish TSO (Energinet), and a law firm have been an integral and essential part of the job. Responsible for the economic evaluation and project performance analysis of a feasibility analysis of a BESS project in Denmark. As part of sustainability, I set out the service regarding SMEs' B Impact Assessment (BIA), the B-corp certification process at More-consulting (including data collection, verification and GHG accounting). Feasibility and viability analysis of potential decarbonization initiatives (e.g. BESS). Risk management and reporting for a PtX plant project development in Denmark (safety HAZID).
Working as senior project risk manager for a large infrastructure energy project (Gas to Power) in Marocco. Climate risk modelling and impact are included in the cost modelling along with scenario analysis.
- Led feasibility analysis (i.e. draft design, detailed energy/economic modelling and financial modelling) on the generation of green hydrogen via offshore wind (e.g. wind energy production and on-shore H2 production, direct coupling of offshore wind and on-shore electrolyzer, offshore H2 production), carbon capture and storage applied to carbon-intensive energy systems (e.g. waste to energy, biogas to biomethane conversion) and hybrid offshore wind systems (Estimate of CAPEX, OPEX, LCOE). - management of internal and external stakeholders for collaboration on projects centred on hydrogen production and distribution (as to business design and viability analysis). -Project management and market/business strategy analyst for small biogas facilities and technical-economic projects for LNG plants, gas pipelines (e.g. Nord Stream, Polarled, ..) and underground gas storages (UGS) in the Nordics and Continental Europe; - Gas and electricity market study in the Baltic region and MENA countries in connection to regional energy trade analysis for international financial institutions (e.g. World Bank, EBRD). Project risk management according to ISO 31000 standard: risk management, execution of cost-benefit analysis and cost/schedule risk analysis for gas-to-power projects and renewable energy facilities. - Responsible for the risk management of projects in the Oil&Gas and Offshore Wind energy, according to best practices (i.e., ISO 31000, IEC 62198, PMBOK chp.11). - Responsible for risk in project execution, cost risk analysis, schedule uncertainty analysis, cost-benefit, and HSE risk assessment as to projects in the Oil&Gas upstream (drilling rig, offshore platforms) and mead-stream (offshore pipeline systems). - Data analysis and modeling for quantitative risk assessment - I perform risk assessments, including system integrity, HAZID workshop charring, Project Risk identification workshop. I lead risk analysis (i.e., consequence analysis and probabilistic analysis), risk estimation and evaluation against the corporate risk acceptance criteria reflected in the corporate's risk policy (risk and consequence matrix), ALARP demonstration. - Application of ISO 15001 and ISO 45001 standards to management systems of O&G facilities (management system updates, continuous improvements, system reporting updates and auditing) - I set out and manage risk mitigation strategies and risk control procedures for continuous risk monitoring - Collaboration with other Ramboll departments to define the decarbonization strategy of energy utilities and pension funds (impact on scope 1,2,and 3 emission estimate and SBTi targets setting.
