I’m a Technical Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in IT. Over the years, I’ve managed diverse projects, supported client infrastructures, and built disaster recovery solutions. My role usually began where stardom/acting and flawless communication were no longer enough. I’m open to new challenges and opportunities in Project Management roles. I’m good at: - finding information, bugs… and occasionally features no one knew existed, - figuring out how to get things done (especially when there’s “no way”), - getting access everyone else has been waiting for for weeks, - politely pointing out what everyone missed, - rescuing “problematic” projects and tasks, - taking on work nobody wants but everybody needs, - stepping into critical roles when things get interesting, - bringing structure, clarity, and calm to fast-paced environments, - asking the uncomfortable but necessary: “Did anyone actually test this?”, - turning “this is complicated” into “it’s done.” My biggest achievements: - Helped Sophie (a person with learning disabilities) find her voice, - Co-created “l’équipe de trois grâces”, a team remembered as one of Cana’s strongest in 20 years (L’Arche), - Convinced a Hilton Housekeeping Manager to move me and a colleague into restaurant roles, - Restarted a frozen ESX host running ~70 VMs without issues, - Took ownership of the market build process and delivered it end-to-end, - Completed a full year of backup-restore tests in four months, - At Codewave, I was often mistaken for a DevOps Engineer or Developer. Areas for improvement / challenges: - I am introverted, - My spoken English/French is less fluent than I use daily, - I avoid misrepresenting facts, - I challenge the status quo and drive change. Examples of led projects: - decommissioning 40+ web apps (Magento/WordPress, MySQL), 64 VMs, and legacy infrastructure, - migration of MySQL databases to DBaaS, - infrastructure build supporting 15+ new markets, - patching campaigns via Radia Client Automation for ~20,000 servers, - Active Directory implementation for 2,000+ supermarkets, - PoC for AD forest recovery using Semperis, - disaster recovery exercises and implementations, - network bubble for backup-restore testing, - installation of various tools.
Over the past few months, I have been on a sabbatical. What started as a necessary break after a particularly difficult period in my personal life and a prolonged experience of professional burnout has become an opportunity for reflection, learning, and growth. During this time, I have been: • Working through a long list of tasks and projects that I never had the time or energy to tackle before, • Focusing on my mental well-being, • Re-evaluating my professional goals and priorities, • Discovering what truly brings me satisfaction and a sense of purpose. Stepping away from full-time work was not an easy decision, but it was the best decision I could have made.
