Dare To Do More (DTDM) Commercial Track. I will rotate through four different roles during a period of two years.
I assisted the Belgian skincare laboratory Libinvest in their expansion efforts into the South African market. My role focused on identifying and approaching potential distributor partners for their premium cosmeticeutical brand 2B Bio Beauty®. This included market research, prospecting, participation in trade shows such as the Aesthetic Medicine Convention in Johannesburg, and initiating strategic business partnerships.
Selected by the explort program of the Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX), I was chosen with 14 other participants out of 150 applicants to take on the challenge of executing an international trade mission. Serving Walloon companies, the Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency (AWEX) aims to raise awareness among young people of the importance of international trade and the stakes that foreign trade represents for the Walloon region. Making companies more effective at exporting also means providing them with skilled employees trained in international trade techniques. That's why AWEX is offering EXPLORT, in partnership with the Forem Business Skills Centre. This programme consists of training and work placements in an international context, carrying out a trade mission abroad and creating a win-win relationship with the Walloon business community.
I focused on strengthening brand identity and optimizing social media engagement. Through research and competitor analysis, I identified key challenges in brand differentiation and proposed data-driven solutions to improve consumer perception. To bridge the gap between marketing and sales, I developed activations linking online strategies with in-bar promotions, leveraging partnerships like Rayon Sports (football club) to communicate brand image and increase both engagement and sales. Additionally, I structured and guided the collaboration with Tella Rwanda (a communications agency), ensuring strategic execution and measurable impact on brand performance. This experience allowed me to combine analytical insights with hands-on execution, reinforcing the role of digital marketing in driving business growth. Magna Cum Laude (80%)
