Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Drive and establish global commercial marketing strategies for assigned business units. Team Management: Oversee all aspects of employee management, including recruitment, development, feedback, appraisals, and exit processes for direct reports. Collaborative Partner: Work closely with senior leadership and the Creative Services team to: Partner with cross-disciplinary teams and external agencies to execute strategies, ensuring innovation and creative ideas. Support regional teams in adapting commercial marketing guidelines locally. Leverage e-commerce strategies to prioritize a "digital first" approach, positioning PUMA.com as the "Home of the Brand." Customer-Centric Approach: Place the customer at the center of commercial marketing discussions through data analysis, regional feedback, and channel expertise. Consistency in Messaging: Ensure consistency in messaging and resources from sell-in to sell-through in collaboration with the Commercial Marketing GTM team. Budget Management: Manage seasonal and yearly budgets effectively. Omnichannel Experience: Ensure the team supports PUMA Retail, PUMA.com, and wholesale accounts in delivering a cutting-edge consumer experience aligned with the PUMA brand, adopting an omnichannel and phygital mindset. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including Global Retail Environment, Product Merchandising, E-commerce, and Retail. Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize topline marketing analytics for informed decision-making. Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with creative services leadership and business unit teams to promote a collaborative, solution-oriented environment. Leadership and Inspiration: Serve as a leader and role model, inspiring and challenging team members while promoting positive and empowering behavior. Agency Negotiation: Develop productive relationships and negotiate with multiple agencies.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of commercial marketing strategies for the Teamsport Business Unit. Strategically align with PUMA ecom and retail teams on global campaign roll outs. Gain deep insights into shopper behavior, retail trends, and KPI tracking specific to the Teamsport BU. Innovate and create impactful windows, Point of Purchase (POP) marketing materials, communication tools, and guidelines to enhance the PUMA brand across Retail PUMA Stores, PUMA ecom and Wholesale accounts. Identify and address the needs of PUMA Football’s global commercial marketing channels, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery through creative briefs, project timelines, project management, and production sourcing. Collaborate with a Go-to-Market Specialist to manage the account sell-in materials process, including store environment mock-ups, showrooms, and visual materials for regional implementation. Ensure PUMA Retail/ecom and Wholesale accounts provide a cutting-edge consumer experience aligned with the PUMA brand. Work closely with the Teamsport marketing and product teams to deliver cohesive and comprehensive commercial marketing communications globally. Partner with key internal stakeholders such as Retail Visual Merchandising, Product Merchandising, and Retail teams to ensure a seamless global campaign roll out. Strategically roll out innovative local window and POP packages in line with the Regional Store Event and Marketing Calendar. Continuously explore and integrate new trends and innovations in the retail industry to enhance PUMA’s in-store and online experience and communication. Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial agencies and partners, focusing on cost efficiency and timely delivery. Utilize quantitative and qualitative metrics to maximize the effectiveness of window and POP materials.
Campaigns worked on: Stellenbosch Wine Festival, J&B Met and Knysna Oyster Festival – managing activities leading up to these events, including marketing strategies, online strategies and executions, media input and promotional activities.
