General Manager for NAM’s non-producing oil & gas assets; a decommissioning & restoration (D&R) portfolio of approximately 500 wells on 160 sites across the Netherlands e.g. Groningen. Overall accountable for safe & efficient delivery of NAM’s D&R portfolio and management of external stakeholders. For the execution of its D&R portfolio, NAM closely collaborates with WellGear (subsurface) and Arcadis (surface) under the so-called SITURN partnership. A partnership dedicated to return NAM’s non-producing oil & gas asset in the best state possible, contributing to the desired energy transition.
Transformation manager at NAM focused on closing the company's gap to ultimate potential in both production and cost using an Agile-at-Scale operating model. Responsibilities include coordinating NAM's improvement plans, coaching (senior) leaders on the Agile mindset & way of working and designing a competitive fit-4-future organisation.
Chapter lead for the Production Surveillance & Technology community at NAM – home of the disciplines Production Support Engineering, Production Technology and Process Technology - heart of the Well, Reservoir and Facility Management delivery process. Responsibilities included setting a long-term chapter vision, building a community of Agile professionals, and developing technical & leadership competencies.
Performed research on distillation across highly permeable hydrophobic membranes at Shell Global Solutions Amsterdam. Membrane distillation is a technology suitable to produce demineralised water from process water with an elevated salt level using waste heat.
The Energy Delta Convention is an international platform for somewhat 1.000 senior energy experts. The EDC is been organized annually by Energy Delta Research Centre (EDReC).
