After 15 years in hardware and software development, functional safety management, and technical leadership roles, as Head of Safety at MotorAi, I lead an interdisciplinary team across five disciplines: Functional Safety, SOTIF, Security, System Engineering, and Quality. My main focus is on defining, implementing, and certifying a safety case for an L4 autonomous driving system in Germany and Europe, as well as establishing an effective Safety Management System in compliance with UNECE GRVA-22-33, EU 2022/1426, and AFGBV. I connect safety and quality by design with innovative approaches for Al safety and an agile mindset.
