Managed software development for a new Next Generation Firewall running on a multi-core networking appliance called Tilera. Main responsibilities were managing a team of developers, determining project deliverables and schedule, determining the feature set. The project involved: Open Source Intrusion Detection and Prevention Tools, specifically Suricata. Worked as a Software Developer focusing on Global Traffic Manager product, Load Balancing, Network Protocols (DNS, SSL, TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ARP), Socket Programming. I have designed and developed features such as DNS server monitoring agent. I have programmed on Linux platform using C, C++, STL, Perl, SOAP. Used GDB for debugging and core file investigation.
