Completed a rigorous and demanding 3-month 60 hours/week computer programming bootcamp that teaches full stack C# and Java software development. Students learn about programming both the front-end/user interface as well as the back-end/server side of a web application. Large projects were also assigned regularly to test and implement our skills and evaluated using Atlassian. Notable Projects: - Full Stack Car Dealership Website: Developed a fully functional car dealership website called Skrt that utilized the ASP.NET MVC architecture. The site connected to a database via Entity Framework which was created specifically for the project in SQL Server Management Studio. Certain pages implemented AJAX calls to connect to a custom Web API to retrieve data. Other technologies used include Bootstrap, LINQ, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and ASP.NET Identity. - Virtual Vending Machine: Utilized HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap to develop a vending machine web app that conneced to an existing Java Web API to retrieve its products. Along with a smooth minimalistic user interface, it also sports a "shake vending machine" option if it doesn't let you have your way, just like in real life. - DVD Library Web API: Developed a Web API for an existing website to connect to and perform CRUD functions regarding DVDs. The API made use of dependency injection to connect to an in-memory repo, a SQL database using Dapper, or a SQL database using Entity Framework code-first. - Star Wars Battleship: Took partially finished code and developed a fully working Star Wars themed Battleship game using C#. Players can choose between the Jedi or Sith and comes complete with Jedi/Sith themed ships such as a X-Wing or a Sith Star Destroyer. NUnit was used for testing purposes. - Floor Ordering Management System: Developed an in-console Floor Ordering System using C#, LINQ, and MVC architecture. Orders were read from and saved to a .txt file and the application performed CRUD functionality.
