As an offshore structural engineer i was involved in many activities concerning the design and reassessment of offshore platforms. The main activities are the following: - Design of jacket, deck and flare structures for in-service (static, dynamic, sismic and stochastic fatigue analysis) and temporary conditions (load-out, lifting etc.) in FEED phase projects; - Structural reassessment of offshore fixed platforms for life extension isseues; - FEM modelling and analysis of structural details; - Non-linear pushover analysis of offshore fixed platform; - Development of Inspection, Maintenance and Repairing Plans
