I am a passionate and results driven Individual Giving and Data Manager at the Wellington City Mission, where I lead an exceptional team dedicated to creating meaningful donor experiences and lasting impact within our community. With a strong focus on donor retention, acquisition, and supporter journeys, I have successfully developed and implemented Regular Giving, Telemarketing, and Mid-Level Giving programmes, alongside highly effective fundraising appeals and engagement strategies. I am deeply passionate about the power of data to drive informed decision making, strengthen donor relationships, and support long term organisational growth. I thrive in fast paced environments that require adaptability, innovation, and continuous learning. I enjoy taking on new challenges, developing new skills, meeting critical deadlines, and contributing creative strategies that support our mission of providing safe transitional housing, food and essentials, financial support, and social work assistance to those who need it most. I completed my Certificate in Fundraising through FINZ in 2017 and continue to actively invest in professional development and leadership training. In 2019, I was honoured to be nominated for FINZ Fundraising Newcomer of the Year and have been part of two award winning teams. I currently maintain a database of over 7000 regular givers. I deal with customer enquiries through to intensive data cleaning and producing data sets for our various Appeals and Newsletters. I provide and clean data for email comms, 3rd party companies that we work with and analysis for the team. I thoroughly enjoy my job, it fulfils my need to help people on a daily basis. I work with a fantastic team and can't wait to expand my knowledge of fundraising. I truly feel that I have found my place in the world at Life Flight being a Fundraiser.
Performing outbound calls to customers in Australia on behalf of Lumo energy, to promote and sell products to reach a daily sales target. Unfortunately the company closed down due to insolvency.
Employed as a level 1-2 analyst providing IT support to McDonald's stores across New Zealand and Australia, remedying software and hardware faults. I was then promoted to incident manager where I was looking after a team of 15-20. Providing training to staff, controlling head office communications and overseeing the work of staff on shift.
