My name is Elliot Marshall. As a freshman biochemistry major at UC Davis, I am committed to academic excellence and extracurricular involvement. Passionate about music performance, I have performed with my high school music department as a trumpeter and mellophonist in marching, jazz, and concert band, and as xylophone and marimba player in indoor drumline for the last 7 years. Outside of school and music, I volunteer regularly with the San Diego Food Bank at their distribution center, at monthly food distribution sites that serve the local community's food scarcity needs, and at a downtown soup kitchen serving the homeless population.
In conjunction with Buckheart Ranch, I have been a part of a team that sorts, organizes, and distributes pantry items and fresh produce. I have created and published on social media to reach surrounding communities and further spread the word to those who may experience food scarcity. Since beginning this marketing, we have been able to serve a diverse population of families and individuals.
Since beginning high school, I have had the opportunity to volunteer with the San Diego Food Bank in their distribution center.
