I'm a London-based freelance art assistant / studio assistant / set designer / stylist. A BA (Hons) Design graduate from Goldsmiths, University of London. I have experience working on a wide variety of jobs, including commercials, short films, pop-up events and art installations. Predominantly a digital designer, utilising graphics and film. Although, i practice through the art of painting, screen-printing, drawing & writing. My passion lies within exploring the boundaries between the tangible and intangible, spaces and humans. A lot of my work surrounds the human senses and temporality. I am still expanding my skills within other design disciplines, but through strong working relations with peers and external designers, this will undoubtedly add value to my pre-existing design attributes. As a front-of-house host at Good as Gold, I monitor and greet guests upon arrival and escort them to tables. I provide accurate waiting times and oversee the waitlist. I assist servers by taking and delivering drink orders. Coordinating with the front-of-house and back-of-house staff ahead of events allows for a smooth service running and maximises guest satisfaction. Customer loyalty is important for small businesses like Good as Gold. This is encouraged by delivering unparalleled service throughout customer’s dining experiences.
- In my role as an on-site representative, I oversaw the shoot. - Negotiated with the director, first assistant director, director of photography and sound director to ensure the site remained presentable for the duration of the shoot. - Acted as a supporting artist in specific scenes.
- Assisted south-east London based fashion designer, Paria Farzaneh with her latest pop-up store located in Haggerston, east London. - Prepared pattern cuttings. - Instalment of the store included building, positioning and styling. - Styled the space with Paria’s garments, shoes, bags, books and belts. - Negotiated with Paria and the on-site creative director to ensure a smooth and timely schedule.
- Working with Babolat and Wimbledon official, I assisted with the preparation, instalment and styling for Babolat house, a Babolat headquarters for the duration of Wimbledon 2024. - Prepared artificial flowers to be installed onto three flower arches. - Adhered to the proposed design concept, mainly including the Wimbledon colours. - Instalment included building and positioning. - Through floristry, we styled and dressed each section of the space accordingly. - Negotiated with the client, Babolat and the on-site production manager to ensure a smooth and timely schedule.
- Assisted London-based artist, Clarisse d’Arcimoles in her north London studio. - Produced creative content for her most recent project, a short film for a bespoke jewellery brand, Jessica Mccormack, directed by Tom Dream. - Adhered to the project mood board to ensure creative content matched the proposed brief. - Photo editing and drawings. - Photos edited using the Adobe Creative Suite.
