Working for a variety of retail companies has allowed me to learn skills in teamwork, leadership, communication, and taking initiative. Working for Lululemon I was able to grow at the company from a part-time educator to a full-time educator where I learned skills in visual merchandising, product processing, and the interworking of a large retail space. I also learned about the best modes of communication and the compassion that is necessary to work with a large team.
I spent the summer working with 1st and 2nd graders at the Dowling Urban Nature program. I built meaningful connections it’s my students as we spent the summer learning about the environment around us.
