Monitor pool safety, enforce facility rules, and provide emergency response and customer assistance as a lifeguard at the Cordova Recreational Center
I currently work in Dr. Kerstein’s lab, where I gain hands-on research experience while collaborating with a team of scientists. My work includes carrying out polymerase chain reactions, extracting DNA, and contributing to data analysis. Currently we are analyzing which transcription factors encode for amacrine cells in the eye. This role has helped me build a strong foundation in research methodology, teamwork, and critical thinking.

I created meaningful customer experience through serving icecream and greeting guests. I also organized and managed stock at the store through recording in spreadsheets and communicating with managers. I also learned how to manage the cash register transactions and process customer payments.
