Ellias Aghili Dehnavi is a young, well-known international author, researcher, and peace studies scholar with expertise in American Literature and Regional Studies, focusing on North America, North Africa, and the Middle East. Ellias' interests are diverse, and he has a strong passion for interdisciplinary studies. His research encompasses various topics, including U.S. and Canadian foreign policies, U.S.-Iran relations, U.S. domestic politics, conflict resolution studies, immigration politics, and climate change (particularly with an emphasis on Latin America and U.S.-Canada dynamics). Additionally, he explores the emergence of new Far Eastern hegemonic powers challenging the status quo, postmodern factors shaping modern public diplomacy, the psychological aspects of foreign policy decision-making, and intriguingly, the connections between biological sciences and political sciences. Mr. Aghili Dehnavi has received numerous international accolades and awards for his scholarly work in international relations and diplomatic activities. These honors include the World Heritage Robben Island Fence Medallion and several diplomatic commendation letters addressed to him and his affiliates. Publishing his first book at the age of 16 marked the beginning of a prolific career. Five of his books have been selected as TRD Hmbg Publication's Book of the Month in the United States, with the most renowned being "A Melody Called Peace," which received an extraordinary letter from the office of Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, as well as a commendation from the Holy See’s Representative, Nuncio Apostolico Leo Boccardi. Notably, Paul John Amrod and Ellias co-authored the longest epic poem of the 21st century, Adventures of Two Captains. Mr. Dehnavi had his international academy, M.O.P, and used to serve as an educational partner with some well-accredited colleges in the UK and the Republic of South Africa. Assisting the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria in advancing consular services, institutional relations, and public diplomacy initiatives. Engaged in liaison activities with governmental authorities, universities, cultural organizations, and international partners; supporting consular documentation and administrative processes; coordinating official communications; and representing Austrian interests at selected diplomatic, academic, and public events. I act as a guest political analyst, providing expert commentary on international and regional developments, with particular attention to foreign policy dynamics and geopolitical trends. My role involves translating complex political events into clear, accessible insights for a broad public audience while maintaining analytical rigor and factual accuracy. I contribute to live broadcasts, recorded segments, and expert discussions on a non-remunerated basis, offering context-driven assessments that support informed public debate. In parallel, I collaborate with journalists and editorial teams to ensure accurate representation of political processes, crises, and policy implications across global and regional contexts.
I teach and support undergraduate- and graduate-level courses in political science and international relations, with a focus on foreign policy analysis, particularly U.S. and Iranian foreign policy, Middle Eastern studies, European politics, and security studies. My responsibilities include delivering lectures and seminars, designing course syllabi and teaching materials, supervising student presentations and research papers, and providing academic mentoring. I emphasize critical thinking, policy analysis, and evidence-based debate, while supporting domestic and international students in navigating academic and cultural contexts. In parallel, I contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary dialogue, integrating perspectives from political theory, international affairs, and contemporary policy challenges.
I conduct advanced research in political science and international affairs, with a focus on foreign policy analysis, particularly U.S. and Iranian foreign policy, Middle Eastern studies, and contemporary security issues. My work involves designing and implementing qualitative research, including elite interviews and policy-oriented analysis, as well as producing scholarly outputs and policy-relevant publications. I actively contribute to interdisciplinary research initiatives within the Doctoral School of Social Sciences and support academic collaboration with international research institutions. In parallel, I mentor doctoral and early-career researchers and contribute to research seminars, methodological discussions, and knowledge exchange within the academic community.
In this role, I lead programmatic activities related to Iran’s cultural, social, and policy contexts within a Warsaw-based foundation focused on supporting educational, cultural, and social initiatives. I develop and coordinate research-informed programs, convene expert dialogues, and support the publication and dissemination of culturally and historically grounded projects involving Iranian themes. I facilitate partnerships with academic, cultural, and civil society actors to enhance intercultural understanding and visibility of Iranian perspectives in European scholarly and public spaces. My responsibilities also include strategic program planning, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that initiatives align with the foundation’s goals of social impact, knowledge exchange, and cross-regional cooperation.
Founded and lead M.O.P., a peace-focused NGO dedicated to research, dialogue, and community-based initiatives in conflict-affected contexts. I oversee strategic direction, project design, and international partnerships, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams working across international relations, public policy, cultural studies, and language-focused initiatives. My role includes developing policy-relevant programs, organizing academic and public events, and designing cultural and educational projects that use language, literature, and dialogue as tools for social cohesion and peacebuilding. I also mentor young researchers and students and engage with civil society actors, diplomatic missions, and international organizations. Through M.O.P., I support initiatives that amplify marginalized voices, promote peaceful dialogue, and translate grassroots experiences into structured analysis, intercultural understanding, and public awareness.
