Worked on Home Delivery engineering team at health care start-up. Decoupled monolith application functionality into atomic micro services to facilitate integration, testing, and building/deploying. Instrumented robust metrics for performance and health monitoring, as well as PagerDuty notifications and business analytics. Introduced ElasticSearch to tech stack, replacing legacy database queries and improving performance by a factor of 250x. Introduced queue-based asynchronous communication layer between applications to guarantee uptime, performance, and data integrity.
