About

I am very passionate about the Maine world/environment. The ocean has always been a calming and relaxing outlet, its endless resources and radiant sea life have made me extremely curious. My love for the ocean has led me to gaining my open/advanced open water dive license and it is one of my life goals to become a dive master.   I am hard working, a very fast learning and eager to get into the marine science industry even before I have obtained my bachelors.  Currently, I am an employee at SeaWorld, while it's not in my ideal department my current position has allowed me to work efficiently within a team. I've learnt when I can take initiative and complete tacks independently, while also communicating effectively with coworkers, superiors and guests.  Through my studies of statistics, I have learnt methods of data collection and how to use that data to formulate hypothesis tests.  How to effectively problem solve different issues and find uncertainty, errors and outliers within these problems and/or data sets.  In the work place I have displayed team spirit, the ability to work independently particularly my current role at Seaworld which have recently allowed me to be nominated for employee of the month of December.  I am excited to build of my current skills and learn from people just as passionate about the ocean as me.
