Working and directing the Program and Design Engineer to create a design that meets customer appearance and manufacturing expectations. Ensure all program milestones are met.
Responsible Product Engineer for the 2011 LX/LD Headlamps and the Cross Platform Front Fog Lamps. Working with suppliers, design office and interfacing product engineers to meet vehicle, system and timing requirements. Ensure the supplier meets product functional objectives and program timing milestones. Addressing design, warranty and build concerns. Monitor warranty on all Exterior Lighting Components. Represent Chrysler at the USCAR Lighting Task Force. Leading several DFSS projects
Engineer for the Center of Competence Support platform Engineers on questions to Exterior Lighting regulations and design best practices. Re-write exterior lighting specifications. Maintain LPP cost charts of all exterior lighting products. Monitor warranty on all Exterior Lighting Components and work on projects to reduce warranty. Represent Chrysler at
Responsible Product Engineer for the 06 LX Dodge Sedan Forward Lighting and Cross Platform Side Repeater. Worked with suppliers, design office and interfacing product engineers to meet vehicle, system and timing requirements. On time launch of the forward lighting with none fastener attachment method to meet legal bumper impact requirements. Support for other lighting engineers and platforms with exterior lighting related questions and legal requirements.
Located at the GM Tech Center. Design release responsible for the future Grand Am Head Lamp. Main customer interface for Styling, Engineering and Packaging questions. Working with the Pendleton/Headquarter based design team to meet program timing, GM design and legal requirements.
