In this position, I worked as a secretary/receptionist and assisted the paralegals at one of the premiere criminal defense law firms in Charlotte. I worked the front desk welcoming clients and acted as a liaison between past, current, and new clients and the seven attorneys working with our firm within multiple areas of law. I helped manage the schedules of multiple attorneys and prepared important legal documents, as well as assisting paralegals with client data input and filing. I also learned multiple online legal and government programs/technologies that aided with data input and client management.
Within this role, I worked to advise customers on suitable products based on their individual needs and preferences as well as educate them on safety and science pertaining to product use both in store and via social media. I also created cannabis education infographics and company marketing materials in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva, and posted regularly on company Instagram for marketing purposes. I hosted giveaways, updated product offerings, announced sales, and more through Instagram in addition to creating and maintaining a posting schedule. In addition, I managed inventory for multiple locations and preformed market research for acquiring new products.
