Responsible for planning and implementing strategies to support the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of all philanthropic giving sources to support the YMCA of the North Shore. Leads the direct mail and digital solicitation campaigns as well as ensures effective internal and external communication systems. Focus on strategically expanding our YMCA’s philanthropic giving program.
Design, coordinate and execute the Annual Giving campaigns for YMCA of the North Shore - including quarterly appeals, employee giving, stewardship communications, and small events and event based fundraising campaigns. Support the Advancement and Development teams with the Annual Gala, and any and all other development related activities. Help Executive Directors manage donor portfolios; manage and cultivate portfolio of donors $250 and under; run peer-to-peer giving campagins; design and send donor e-newsletter; and manage recurring gift program.
As part of the Marketing Team, I managed social media accounts for GSEMA, designed and executed event, and council (digital, and print) collateral as well as provided photography at our smaller events. I also managed branding usage and maintained brand consistency council-wide.
Worked with the Development team to create and implement design and layout for annual report, e-newsletters, event materials, brochures and other agency communications; Managed website and social media content; Maintained and updated agency print products; Managed the donor database (Giftworks), including processing gifts, generating thank you letters, and reports; Worked with Development team to plan and execute an annual communication calendar; Worked with Ellis staff, Board members and external vendors to plan and execute special events; Managed all aspects of the agency’s Boston Marathon charity runners; Assisted with preparing proposals and reports for corporate and foundation supporters; Researched new sources of corporate and foundation support.
Assisted the Chief Development officer with fundraising campaigns, managed Team Ellis for the 2105 and 2016 Boston Marathons, maintained and updated website and social media platforms, designed agency print materials (annual report, brochures, internal forms and documentation), sent out email marketing through Constant Contact, thanked donors using the GiftWorks database, assisted with event planning, management, and execution, designed event materials (program book, invitation, evite, save the date, materials used at the event), photographed various program and organization events and day-to-day happenings for use by organization, occasionally attended and recruited volunteers with Volunteer Coordinator as well as assisted with volunteer and volunteer events when needed, and pitched in when and wherever needed.
