Elizabeth Loftus is currently a Senior at Columbia College Chicago, graduating in December of 2025, studying Marketing with a concentration in the Entertainment Industry, along with additional course experience in Music Business. Loftus is looking to work closely in the live event space with concert and festival producers to bridge the gap between creative endeavors and business ventures, ensuring creative vision remains intact, while events become profitable. She is an honors student, maintaining a high GPA while immersing herself in relevant freelance work related to her desired career in entertainment. Loftus has excelled in coursework related to her field of choice, specifically courses in Entertainment Marketing, Live Entertainment, Information Management, Promotional Marketing, Economics and Law for Creative Industries, Music Publishing, and numerous others. Loftus is looking to network with industry professionals who have had success in her desired field, in order to learn the most she can and be educated and knowledgeable about being an entertainment professional from those who have experience in the industry. She is looking to be of value using her excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with her passion for problem solving and creative ideas. Loftus has worked in hospitality, specifically the restaurant industry, for a number of years, and utilizes this experience to enhance her verbal communication skills and understanding of consumer needs and behaviors. She has additionally gained experience from multiple internships related to her field of choice, specifically in social media and marketing for music and entertainment related fields. Today, she has built networking, communication, interpersonal, strategic thinking, and problem solving skills through her work in hospitality and internships in the fields of marketing and social media. She has honed in on being analytical and logical, while offering empathetic views from the consumer side, to create a well-rounded and adaptive identity. Outside of the educational and professional space, Loftus spends her time engaging in physical fitness practices as well as singing, making music, cooking, and learning guitar as of recently.
