I am a Holocaust historian, a public historian, a researcher, a writer, and an archivist. I am passionate about using my knowledge of history, research methods, and information literacy to educate and empower others in an increasingly opaque world. I run a public history blog hosted on tumblr, where I have over 123,000 followers; and I am the author of the forthcoming "The Girl Bandits of the Warsaw Ghetto," to be released by HarperCollins in Fall, 2025.
Since September 2023, I have provided Jewish historical and cultural education to students between the ages of 7 and 11 on a weekly basis during the school year.

After conducting research for the Streamy-Award Winning first season of the podcast and Youtube series Dark History with Bailey Sarian (an influencer and incredible story teller with a platform of over 5 million followers and subscribers), I'm back on for season 4! Drawing on my training as an information professional, journalist, and historian to produce high quality, academically sound work, I research and write 20-25 page treatments of a wide variety of historical topics on a tight, one week deadline for Dark History with Bailey Sarian, Past and present topics include: anti-black violence in the United States, pre-1950, corporate malfeasance, Belgian colonialism, and much more.
-Process over 3,000 boxes of institutional records from the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS). -Determine subject headings and appropriate intellectual order of my subseries boxes. -Maintain ongoing series, processing, and historical notes on processed materials. -Appraise incoming boxes for retention. -Make regular contributions to the HIAS team's project blog.
