Hi there, I'm Liz! Welcome to my page :) I am an incoming second year medical student at Touro University California. During my first year there, I was elected Secretary of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons club, and Vice President of the Geriatric Interest Group. I also concurrently took an ASL 1 class at Solano Community College, as I have a keen interest in Deaf healthcare and American Sign Language (ASL). During my gap year, I worked as a medical assistant in the Specialty division of Caduceus Physicians Medical Group. I am also a graduate at the University of California, Irvine. I majored in Human Biology. During my time at UCI, I researched in both the Weiss Lab and under Dr. Andrea Nicholas in two vastly different fields - molecular biology, and educational research, respectively. I spent a significant portion of my time volunteering at Kaiser Permanente Irvine in the COPE Health Scholars program. During that time, I also shadowed a series of doctors at Kaiser Permanente, Riverside. In my free time, I love writing, drawing, cooking, and playing tabletop RPGs with my friends. Hopefully one day you'll see my name on a book in Barnes and Nobles :)
