Processing 60% of month-end close, including creating the journals and back-up details. Analyzing and creating reports to explain direct labor, indirect labor, temporary labor variations. Analyze and creating reporting for Returns and Allowances to explain where issues are lying. This also includes Open Orders, Back Orders and Partial reporting. Managing and directing bi-yearly inventory encompassing approx. $2 – 4 million dollars. Analyzing and creating the yearly budget books and system uploads for review and finalization. General ledge review and analysis for any discrepancies. Working with internal departments to review and analyze inventory variances for disposition. Perpetually creating and implementing Policies and Procedures with explicit instructions. Being a department team lead in training and projects as needed.
Brought in to clean up the new system transition included bank and credit card reconciliations, 1099’s review and submission, and processing Accounts Payable and Receivable.
In charge of processing monthly credit cards statements and review of those statements, reviewing all general ledger entries for discrepancies, Full-Charge Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Created and maintained Fixed Assets tracking, IFTA documents, Certificate of Insurance, and Incentive Pay. Perpetually creating and implementing Policies and Procedures with explicit instructions.
Full charge Accounts Payable, including commission calculations, expense reports and back-up to Accounts Receivable.
Managed the Full Charge team of five for all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable aspects. Assisted with Human Resources when needed including payroll functions. This included a tracking and updates system to COBRA and working with Benefit companies for open enrollment and continuation of benefits. Lead all aspects of month-end close for twelve companies, including all general ledger accounts reviews. Also, created and processed monthly accruals for month end close. Created and implemented monthly process for quarterly consignment payments, commission payments and contract reviews to initiate terms of payment.
