Howden is a fast growing global insurance broker providing innovative solutions for clients across 55 countries and multiple lines of business. I directly support the CEO delivering major growth initiatives for the employee benefits practice. This includes M&A, IT transformation, strategy, proposition and market development. Leading the global health propositions team, I was responsible for developing and delivering innovative products to new markets and meeting needs of untapped target customer segments. I’m most proud of launching three brand new, direct to consumer insurance products - the first time any new health insurance products had been successfully created and sold by Aviva for over a decade. In this challenging role, I was also responsible for maintaining a portfolio of existing products that served nearly 1million customers around the world, ensuring both customer and commercial success. These products spanned multiple distribution channels and encompass retail, corporate, UK, international business lines. Regularly engaging with Aviva senior leadership, I helped shape future health proposition strategy and I was able to effectively engage a senior audience to secure project and initiative funding. I led a team of experienced, highly motivated technicians, designers and developers to deliver against a complex set of KPI's. With multiple stakeholders across multiple business units, I was proven successful at stakeholder management in a highly complex operating environment.
