An experienced Talent Acquisition specialist with a 360 hands on approach, I have a passion for building successful Talent Acquisition functions and People teams especially in the Start up/Scale up industry. Looking for new TA hands on roles where I can truly add value and help build or transform something exceptional. I'm passionate about hiring talent and also helping develop great talent, following a career in Software Engineering I evolved my career in the tech industry into internal recruitment, capitalising on my stakeholder engagement skills and knowledge of the tech and product world. I've a successful international recruitment career covering a variety of international regions, various role disciplines and seniorities. I have been involved in some amazing projects, I have built an internal recruitment function from scratch, created and implemented international graduate schemes, attracted and built successful Talent Acquisition teams and led Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. I'm focused and tenacious about ensuring a great candidate journey as well as providing a measurable consultative experience for hiring managers. I am a natural leader and have experience inbuilding and leading global and remote teams, implementing new processes and talent functions. I pride myself in my ability to build trusting and long lasting relationships with all my stakeholders, candidates and team members. I've hired: Tech roles such as Software Engineers, Architects, Data Scientists, DevOps, QA, Product Managers in addition to non tech such as IT, Marketing, Sales,Back Office, HR, Finance, Project Managers, ExCo, ect All of the above achievements are testament to my work ethic and how I continuously strive to change, improve and adapt: in my personal life I became a part time fitness instructor in my 30's teaching all sorts of high intensity classes and took up boxing in my 40's leading me to fight twice in the ring to raise money for cancer research. I love learning new things, surrounding myself with driven people and embracing any challenge!
