With over seven years of experience in the hospitality and entertainment industry, I am passionate about creating memorable and magical experiences for Disney's guests. As an administrative coordinator and a recreation coordinator at Walt Disney World, I manage multiple tasks and projects, such as scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and event planning, while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. I also train, supervise, and support a diverse team of pool attendants, lifeguards, and recreation staff, who deliver exceptional customer service and entertainment. I am certified in lifeguarding, first aid, CPR, and AED by the American Red Cross, and I have skills in Microsoft Office, communication, and digital photography. I hold a master's degree in communication and a bachelor's degree in digital photography from Southern New Hampshire University, and a bachelor's degree in accounting and business management from Kean University. I am always eager to learn new things, explore new opportunities, and collaborate with others who share my vision of bringing happiness and joy to the world.
I work at a summer camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes! I've worked here since I was 16, and have worked my way up from CIT(counselor in training), to JC(junior counselor), to SC(senior counselor), to LIT director(being in charge of 16 year old campers), to Program Director, and I've worked in the Health Center as well.
I started as scooping ice cream and working the register, moved up to cooking and being in the kitchen. Open May through October each year.
I did the Disney College Program for a semester and worked in attractions at the Magic Kingdom!
