About

Over 20 years’ experience in a range of different and varied organisations. I have a strong skill set in programme design, development and delivery. Most recently I have transferred my learning into public health using the power of football as a mechanism to reach people in the community. I use my enthusiasm and motivation to collaborate and connect people and achieve outcomes to address health inequalities in Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham. I am skilled in project management, campaign development, public speaking, workshop facilitation and funding applications I am always keen to develop and learn new skills. Current areas of work include working with older adults to increase their physical activity and reduce loneliness, working with veterans and their families to connect to their community and reduce mental health concerns, suicide prevention for men and women, inclusive sport and physical activity with community partners, heritage project for children and older adults and weight management programmes. I am also responsible for the Foundations EDI strategy. I am very proud and grateful for the opportunity to do the work I do.
