I am a Non‑Executive Director, senior HR executive, executive coach and mentor with more than 25 years’ experience across multinationals, private equity‑owned organisations and public sector bodies. My career has focused on helping organisations perform by aligning strong governance, purposeful leadership and people‑centred transformation. I now combine a portfolio of public service non‑executive roles with my work as an Associate at Optimal People and as an executive coach and mentor, supporting leaders and organisations navigating complexity, change and growth. Leadership & Executive Experience Across my executive career, I held senior HR leadership roles with Hovis, Amazon, EE and Castle View Services, partnering with boards and executive teams to shape people strategies enabling transformation, operational excellence and cultural evolution. I held a senior leadership role with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), overseeing corporate services for an 8,000‑strong organisation, contributing to strategic decision‑making across Audit & Risk, Remuneration & Nomination, Change and People Committees. As an executive coach and mentor, I support leaders at pivotal moments — helping them build clarity, confidence and impact while staying grounded in their values.
