Physicist with expertise in planetary science, particularly atmospheric physics and space weather. My research focuses on Mars, using data from various missions. I also lead the development of the University of Oslo's first satellite mission; CENSSAT-1.
Study of EDAC engineering parameter onboard Mars Express and Rosetta for the purpose of exploring space weather events and Galactic cosmic ray modulation and variation with heliocentric distance.
Studying the composition of the Martian atmosphere, searching for biosignatures. Retrieval of upper limits for trace gases methane, ethane and ethylene using NOMAD spectrometer on ExoMars satellite.
Calibration of all-sky camera previously used for auroral observations, now to detect clouds. Development of system to monitor cloud coverage and properties.
