As Staff Planner for the company’s biggest customer ($36 million annual revenue) my responsibilities included: • Documenting planning procedures to standardize materials planning practice within the company. • Planning production materials per MPS and working with Purchasing to ensure on time delivery for production. • Working closely with Engineering for NPI launch and ECO implementation. • Analyzing on hand inventory to identify excess and obsolete inventory and minimize scrap. As Logistics Analyst for the company, elements of my responsibilities were: • Monitoring weekly freight spending and working with other departments to implement freight cost reduction programs. • Negotiating contracts with carriers to reduce freight costs.
