Atlanta, Georgia, United States
I was born and raised in North Georgia, attended Buford High School, and I am currently a student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I love concerts, art (both fine and visual), music, and traveling. I have had several incredible opportunities to travel the world and have been to 20 countries so far. I also have a passion for dance as I am on the Goldrush dance team at Georgia Tech. Although I am currently unemployed, I do have a job as a full-time student focusing on my education. The plentiful workload, rigorous courses, and high demands of Goldrush has been an adjustment, especially with time management, but being here at Georgia Tech has been very rewarding. I enjoy meeting and talking to new people and trying new activities. I adapt very quickly to new environments and love to learn along the way. Because of my experiences in my former job and volunteering opportunities, I have learning many skills, such as communication, leadership, and time management. Each of these skills, plus others, can help me be successful in any job or career path I choose.
Working here, I had a hands-on experience learning the important job skills needed to succeed in any field with customer service. - Front Office Management: I was responsible for providing optimal customer service, checking on clients, answering phone calls, addressing inquiries, and scheduling appointments. - Patient Care: I was trained to conduct multiple chiropractic techniques to relieve pain and improve patient function, such as cupping, TENS stimulation, scraping, and cervical traction. - Procedure Observations: I shadowed nurses and doctors to learn about different diagnoses and how to react in various situations, including emergencies.
