Gothenburg, Västra Götaland County, Sweden
I have a background in Education with orientation towards Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Learning, and a doctoral degree in Education. My research interest is in feedback and instruction in higher and professional education. I am particularly interested in simulation-based training and training in other technology intense contexts. Currently, I am working a senior lecturer in Education at the department of education, communication and learning at the University of Gothenburg. I am the director of studies for two main fields of studies: Education with Specialization in Learning, Communication and Information Technology and Teaching and learning in higher education. I teach within both of these areas, including in an international master's program in IT and learning. I'm also working part time at the unit for pedagogical development and interactive learning (PIL), where I primarily teach courses in higher education pedagogy.
The employment comprised 60% of full time in a research and developmental project. The project developed a web-based information and communication platform for carers of people with dementia. In addition to working with database programming in PL/SQL, I was responsible for the project’s website, training of the platform users, and some administrative work.
