• Determining the agenda of the weekly meetings of the CEO and EVPs, proposing issues to be discussed at the meeting within the scope of the bank’s strategic roadmap, and following up the implementation of the decisions taken at the meetings, • Taking role in the preparation of interviews and statements given by CEO to press, preparing of all kinds of presentations for the CEO in case of need, • Preparing presentations and all the documentation for International Advisory Board (IAB) meetings, providing coordination between board of directors officers and relevant departments in designating contents of executive business review meetings, • Conducting proactive research on sectoral developments in the world and in Turkey, sharing concrete proposals with Strategy Group and related business units to ensure project development, • Being responsible of coordination and follow-up of New Product / Service Evaluation Committee, informing senior management about the products and services regarded as new by the committee, • Examination of innovative and best practices in the sector regarding new trends and the future strategy of the bank, making suggestions and providing support to the related teams in the company for implementation, • Preparation of reports on developments and trends in the banking sector.
Thesis Topic: Optimal Commodity Procurement with Imperfect Delivery We consider a forward procurement contract with possibility of imperfect delivery amount. The spot price follows a log-normal random variable, which is allowed to be correlated with the demand and delivery quality processes. We derive the optimal contract quantity under different correlation structures and demonstrate the value of such contracts.
