Passionate about energy market economics and data science. Co-founder of algorithmic trading start-up Cogito Markets, focused on short-term electricity markets. Throughout my professional experiences, I have gained a unique understanding of electricity markets by working at several stages of the value chain: a big energy-intensive industrial company, a power & gas trading house, the European Power Exchange EPEX SPOT and a battery/EV optimization company. I am very keen on quantitative analytics and data science, and have an extensive experience in analyzing data and building forecasts (very good knowledge of Python, R, SQL). Specialties: energy markets, flexibility, market design, power trading, quantitative analysis, forecasting, Python programming, data science and analytics. We are a small, technical team building algorithmic trading strategies in European power markets. Our work sits at the intersection of energy fundamentals, market modelling, and real-time operations.

On the other hand, I perform quantitative analysis on different markets' volumes and prices in order to understand market players' behaviour and different market phenomena.
7-month internship placement at Danske Commodities, a leading and independent energy trading house specialized in Power and Gas trading as well as energy market services (renewables, conventionals, supply). As a Quantitative Portfolio Analyst, I actively took part in client-side business development for new areas of interest, as well as powerplant pricing & optimization (Python modeling) for different market opportunities and ancillary services. Last but not least, I developed and implemented profit-making automated algorithmic power trading strategies for the Intraday market (advanced R modeling and SQL querying).
8-month internship placement within the Energy Team at ArcelorMittal's headquarters in Luxemburg. The team I joined is responsible for buying and supplying Power and Gas to ArcelorMittal mills in Europe. As an Energy Analyst, I carried out quantitative and qualitative analysis of electricity and gas markets in Europe and developed power price forecasting models for short-term optimization (Excel modeling) as well as automated data dashboards to support the traders. I also handled the quantitative, technical and administrative aspects of a power supply project in France.
