Passionate about energy market economics and data science. Co-founder of algorithmic trading start-up Cogito Markets, focused on short-term electricity markets. Throughout my professional experiences, I have gained a unique understanding of electricity markets by working at several stages of the value chain: a big energy-intensive industrial company, a power & gas trading house, the European Power Exchange EPEX SPOT and a battery/EV optimization company. I am very keen on quantitative analytics and data science, and have an extensive experience in analyzing data and building forecasts (very good knowledge of Python, R, SQL). As an Energy Analyst, I carried out quantitative and qualitative analysis of electricity and gas markets in Europe and developed power price forecasting models for short-term optimization (Excel modeling) as well as automated data dashboards to support the traders. I also handled the quantitative, technical and administrative aspects of a power supply project in France.
