As Co-Founder & COO at OLO, I'm using my 15 years of tech industry experience to build and scale a ground breaking robotics software company. Throughout my career, I've worn many hats; diving into business development, customer success, operations, and programme management - all to turn ambitious visions into a reality. I am also an advocated for women in STEM and passionate about diversity in the tech space. My role is focused on aligning the organisation to deliver our mission and vision; to open up robotics to a much larger audience and build a community of innovative developers. As part of an ambitious team we are creating new standards and raising awareness of the need to unite the fragmented robotics hardware landscape. Building relationships with and managing resellers and large customers across Europe to strategically expand the user base. Running the day to day with intention I am crafting a culture anchored in trust, compassion, with a strong focus on the customer. As a leader I am committed to creating an environment where everyone feels connected and empowered, understanding that their contributions are vital to our success.
As CCO, I executed growth strategies during some of the toughest times, navigating global disruptions and supply shortages to keep the business not just running, but growing. I establish a robust supply chain, tackling backlogged orders and supporting a client based experiencing the same difficulties . I introduced customer-centric initiatives that enhanced engagement and kept our customers coming back. I oversaw daily operations across the UK, Norway, and Finland with my teams, ensuring alignment and boosting productivity. Building a cohesive team to tackle operational bottlenecks, and improved communication and teamwork across all departments. As demand surged, I scaled operations to meet it all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional customer service. Building and maintaining key client relationships became one of the most rewarding parts of my role. Collaborating with our European partners, we uncovered strategic growth opportunities that expanded our market presence.
Directing Operations across the UK and Europe, sales partner to the MD for all major clients and collaborators; Vodafone, Martin Brower/ McDonalds, Hills Waste X MoD and the ‘Big 3’ waste management providers: Veolia, Biffa and Suez, I line managed teams across departments. Responsible for implementing new global business strategies alongside existing operations. Led and maintained ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications for the UK.
Managed UK portfolio of Local Authority customers from business proposal to on-boarding. Designed and led engagement process to ensure customer success. Supported ROI and business case builds both internally and externally for customers.
Supporting the PMO I strategically managing and overseeing multi-million pound UK projects and campaigns for the Web Hosting Company HEG (taken over by Go Daddy) and Scrum Master for 3 development teams including remote members, I was tasked with reporting to the COO and implementing a new Agile Project Management structure. In addition, I worked specifically on brands such as 123 Reg and Heart Internet to improve and develop the website to create a better user experience, and increase traffic to the site.
I was responsible for approx 10 projects (legacy, existing and new projects) ranging between 10k – 100k . Consistently achieving a green RAG rating, I coordinated multiple departments e.g. Development, Release and Testing teams.
