Providing high-end structural engineering and non-conventional numerical simulations for the Saipem Group. My work bridges Floating Offshore Wind (FOW) development and Subsea Pipelay (SURF) installation, delivering advanced analysis for complex EPCI projects. 1. Subsea Pipelay & Field Development Installation Analysis: Static and dynamic analysis for A&R (Abandonment & Recovery), shore pull-in, and catenary configuration. Integrity & Stability: Redline calculations, bending stability, pipe stacking, and tension schedule development. Hydrodynamics: Mooring analysis, sea-state limit definition, and seabed friction modeling. 2. Offshore Wind Farm (OWF) Engineering Structural Design: Global sizing (Star 1), jacket decommissioning studies, and hydrostatic stability for floating assets. Vibration & Dynamics: 3P Frequency analysis and Dynamic Positioning (DP) simulations. Technical Representation: Acting as Company Representative for OWF projects, developing new design methodologies and criteria. Software & Programming: Simulation: OrcaFlex, MOSES Languages: Python (Automation & Data Processing) Methods: FEA, Hydrodynamic Analysis, Numerical Modeling
I worked as a R&D specialist on wind data analysis, raw wind data processing, wind turbine layout design, production estimation, uncertainty evaluation, micro-siting, domestic and foreign investment opportunities and procedures in renewable energy, purchasing contract -especially for wind turbines - and carbon market (GS, SWISS etc.)
I had the opportunity to work closely on installation of wind and solar power plants, test and commissioning works on site, domestic and foreign market research, to participate the approval process of governmental authorities, to support the contract negotiations with wind turbine suppliers, to prepare the tender documents. I was also trained in wind data processing. Although the extent of my experience and knowledge in wind energy is wider, I believe I can safely say I gained insight into solar and bioenergy plants by carrying out project-based activities.
During my university years, I have worked as a leader for the youth at representative branch of ministry in Kocaeli where my duty was to organise and manage all kinds of projects that would develop and support the social, cultural and sports activities for the young locals. There, I was specifically trained on youth psychology, persuasion abilities, oratory and presentation techniques. Additionally, as a member of the same organization, I offered a helping hand in social harmonization programmes and inclusion and inclusiveness projects for Syrian refugees. During 2 years, I also took over the management of an office that writes Erasmus+ projects (KA1, KA2), hosts volunteers from abroad within the scope of EVS and sends our young people abroad as volunteers.
I introduced the products and digital solutions of companies such as Samsung, BMW and Lifecell to the guests at numerous fairs, especially in the field of technology. In this context, I had the chance to introduce a product related to autonomous trucks called 5G MOBIX, which has 55 partners from 10 different countries, at GSMA MWC 2019 Barcelona, one of the world's most respected fairs in the field of technology
I experienced plastic forming, welding and chip removal manufacturing processes in a company that supplies machinery parts to overseas and domestically
