The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands
At the Surfrider Foundation NL I am responsible for setting up and managing the water quality measurement campaign. For the coming years we will sample the North Sea water monthly at least 4 different locations along the Dutch Coast. With this campaign we try to achieve an understanding of the health risks we face daily when enjoying our local surf, advise on preventive measures to stay healthy and take action to improve water quality.
As projectleader at the Bureau for Energy Projects (BEP) I am dedicated to realise the first high pressure hydrogen infrastructure projects in the Netherlands. These national projects fall under the RCR (Rijkscoördinatieregeling) which focuses on (environmental) licensing and public engagement. In this role I work closely together with my colleagues at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, the initiative holders, civilians and other stakeholders in the project areas.
