- Rendering legal advice on advertising and marketing across broad areas, including ad products, ad-tech, insights, sales and brand marketing to ensure compliance with advertising, IP, competition, privacy, data protection and consumer protection laws and regulations - Advise teams on marketing and promotional initiatives across marketing channels (emails, telemarketing, contests, sweepstakes and giveaway) - Coordinate with marketing, product, policy and communications colleagues on multi-disciplinary issues, including those related to customer outreach, events and other initiatives
- Supporting the legal needs of 3/4 of business functions managed under Nestle Singapore including regional offices operating out of the Singapore office. Specialisation: Supply agreements, Sales and Distribution Agreement, Marketing/Partnership Collaborations, Engagement of Talents and Ambassador, Licensing Agreements, IP Advisory and Management
- Assisting Head Legal to advise STB in the exercise of its functions, the implementation of its projects and protection of its interests - Drafting of and advising on commercial agreements, such as agreements relating to grants and funding, partnership and collaboration with stakeholders, sponsorship agreements, talent and image release forms, licensing agreements, NDAs, novation - Serving various STB divisions in the course of their policy and operational work
- Management of IP Portfolio on behalf of business in the Southeaset Asia and Indian Subcontinent region, including but not limited to Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, India, Philippines, Myanmar, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Australia - Render general IP advice on trade marks, designs and copyright in the region - Trade mark searches/ prosecution/ opposition/ revocation - IP enforcement, including providing advice on potential infringements, coordinating investigations, drafting and sending of cease-and-desist letters - Review and drafting of corporate agreeements (e.g. licensing/distribution/franchising agreements, data protection policy, sales and purchase agreements) - Participated at INTA 2015, INTA 2016 and INTA 2017 - Speaker at Musician Guilds Singapore event regarding basic contract law and contracts in relation to music industry
IP protection and enforcement related tasks including drafting notice of oppositions, preparing statutory declarations, drafting cease-and-desists letters
