I graduated from Eskişehir Technical University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and have internship experience at Sanofi (Quality Department) and Upfield (Production). I've gained hands-on experience with industrial applications in both quality assurance and production environments. These experiences have fueled my curiosity, motivation, and drive for continuous self-improvement. •Managing and monitoring all production processes in accordance with the production plan. •Determining the necessary materials and semi-finished product requirements on the production line and coordinating supplier processes. •Analyzing waste and loss rates and taking actions to reduce them. •Increasing efficiency by identifying operational improvement opportunities.
• During my internship, I closely followed the refining steps of edible oils, including the neutralization process for removing free fatty acids, bleaching, and the deodorization stage both in Semi-Continuous (SCD) and Continuous (CD) systems. • I also examined the hydrogenation process used for hardening oils. These experiences provided me with a clear understanding of industrial-scale oil refining operations and the role of each stage in achieving product quality.
• During my internship, I performed sample control analyses using NIR-RAMAN devices and had the opportunity to work with advanced laboratory instruments such as UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, FT-IR, HPLC, GC, and AAS. • I also gained familiarity with LIMS and SAP programs, which are widely used in laboratory data management. In addition, I observed the validation processes carried out in the lab, which helped me understand the importance of standardization and reliability in analytical methods. • This experience allowed me to strengthen my technical skills and improve my understanding of both laboratory practices and quality systems.
