Having over 25 years of experience in a variety of financial management and controlling functions in various international companies - manufacturing companies as well as service providers - I am still very passionate about finance and the important role it fulfills within a company. I have a positive, down-to-earth ‘make-it-happen’ attitude and I like to work in a sustainable way towards company targets, always challenging the status-quo and looking to improve ways-of-working. In that sense I am often involved in organizational-, systems- or process-transformation programs. Keeping the bigger picture in mind, I try to reach the best possible solutions in line with the company strategy and in cooperation with the team and all stakeholders. It helps a lot knowing that I have a broad interest in how other departments are working; I also have a firm interest and knowledge in ERP systems (SAP) and business intelligence tools. I have not lost the eagerness to learn and it gives me energy to experience new things. Building and coaching teams of finance professionals brings me a lot of professional joy - trying to get the best out of everyone and making them passionate for the job at hand.
